Our Prophet, Muhammad SAW, was born in 571 CE (Common Era) in the city of Mecca (Makkah), Saudi Arabia. As his father Abdullah bin Abdul Muthalib, died several months before his birth in Yathrib (Madinah), and also his mother, Aminah binti Wahb, had passed away, his grandfather, Abdul Muthalib, became his guardian. Abdul Muthalib was the respected head of the clan of Hashim and the tribe of Quraysh, to which his clan belonged. With the Quraysh being the biggest and most influential tribe in Mecca, Abdul Muthalib was seen as the master of all of Mecca. Learn from the Mercy Man

Learn from the Mercy Man

Learn from the Mercy Man

There is no man I love the best except our Prophet Muhammad SAW. He is my eternally best guidance in my live although he passed away long time ago. And here I want to share a poem to show my beloved to him. The title of the poem is Learn from the Mercy Man. (also read : Muhammad SAW My Beloved Prophet)

Learn from the Mercy man

There was a time in my youth,

When Islam was only a custom.

They said “say La IIaha IIIa Allah,..

And pray, you’ll go to Heaven.”

Ah, how simple, no struggle in this,

Just a word, and simple act.

Thereafter I’m absorbed in this world again,

With my ‘assured’ place in Paradise intact.

But this was not to be my fate

For ALLAH chose to guide my heart.

I learnt of a man who struggled so hard

When his mission was from the start.

Spoke gently, kindness he knew.

Never fearing to say what’s right,

His conviction in ISLAM was true.

The touch of his hand was as soft as silk

To comfort a crying child.

To mend his clothes, or do the chores,

Never complaining, he always smiled. read more

Visiting to Nabawi Mosque in Madinah

Visiting to Nabawi Mosque

Visiting to Nabawi Mosque in Madinah. Coming in the Nabawi Mosque made my heart felt calm and peaceful. There were thousands of people stayed there for worshiping. I was sure there were in peaceful as I felt.

Nabawi Mosque is the second holiest mosque in the world after Al-Haram Mosque. It is a great mosque in Madinah. Nabawi mosque also well known as the Prophet’s Mosque was built by the Prophet Muhammad himself next to his house and contains his tomb. When it was built for the first, the mosque was very simple, which had the roof covering of straw, walls with date branches, and pillars of supportive tree trunks and floor of bare sand. The mosque was a 30 m by 35 m rectangular and its height was 2.5 meters. Now, however, it is 90,000 square meters area, 1300 meters height, 66,000 meters long roof, and more than 2,000 pillars.

As it stands today, Nabawi Mosque has a rectangular plan on two floors with the Ottoman prayer hall projecting to the south. The main prayer hall occupies the entire first floor. The mosque enclosure is 100 times bigger than the first mosque built by the Prophet and it can accommodate more than half a million worshippers. It means that millions of Muslims visit this beautiful mosque every year for offering prayers from around the world, for it is the symbol of their emotional attachment with Prophet Muhammad SAW. Muslims who perform the Haj at the Ka’ba in Makkah, mostly visit Madinah to see the Prophet’s resting place. read more

A living he made with his bare hands,

The same that held his mighty sword.

Braveness shone from the edge of his blade,

His smell was always of fragrance,

And cleanliness he kept at his best.
