Short Biography of Prophet Muhammad

Short Biography of Prophet Muhammad

In this occasion we want to share the Short Biography of Prophet Muhammad SAW that it can be used of our reference in getting information about our beloved prophet, Muhammad SAW. This post about Short Biography of Prophet Muhammad, however, we adapted from the second edition of Jihad in the Qur’an: The Truth from the Source by Louay Fatoohi. (also read : Definition Function and Types of Biography)

This is the Short Biography of Prophet Muhammad SAW:

Our Prophet, Muhammad SAW, was born in 571 CE (Common Era) in the city of Mecca (Makkah), Saudi Arabia. As his father Abdullah bin Abdul Muthalib, died several months before his birth in Yathrib (Madinah), and also his mother, Aminah binti Wahb, had passed away, his grandfather, Abdul Muthalib, became his guardian. Abdul Muthalib was the respected head of the clan of Hashim and the tribe of Quraysh, to which his clan belonged. With the Quraysh being the biggest and most influential tribe in Mecca, Abdul Muthalib was seen as the master of all of Mecca. The Quraysh had a special status in Mecca because they used to be in charge of the sacred Ka’ba. The Qur’an tells us that this holy edifice was built by Prophets Abraham and his son Ishmael: read more

Learn from the Mercy Man

Learn from the Mercy Man

Learn from the Mercy Man

There is no man I love the best except our Prophet Muhammad SAW. He is my eternally best guidance in my live although he passed away long time ago. And here I want to share a poem to show my beloved to him. The title of the poem is Learn from the Mercy Man. (also read : Muhammad SAW My Beloved Prophet)

Learn from the Mercy man

There was a time in my youth,

When Islam was only a custom.

They said “say La IIaha IIIa Allah,..

And pray, you’ll go to Heaven.”

Ah, how simple, no struggle in this,

Just a word, and simple act.

Thereafter I’m absorbed in this world again,

With my ‘assured’ place in Paradise intact.

But this was not to be my fate

For ALLAH chose to guide my heart.

I learnt of a man who struggled so hard

When his mission was from the start.

Spoke gently, kindness he knew.

Never fearing to say what’s right,

His conviction in ISLAM was true.

The touch of his hand was as soft as silk

To comfort a crying child.

To mend his clothes, or do the chores,

Never complaining, he always smiled. read more

Follow Muhammad SAW worship Allah with Devotion

Follow Muhammad SAW worship Allah with Devotion

Follow Muhammad SAW worship Allah with Devotion

In this session we want to share a poem about Follow Muhammad SAW worship Allah with Devotion. However, before sharing about Follow Muhammad SAW worship Allah with Devotion, let’s pay attention of the following Verse of Quran.

“Say (O Muhammad), “I am not different from other messengers. I have no idea what will happen to me or to you. I only follow what is revealed to me (Quran). I am no more than a profound warner.” (QS. Al-Ahqaf : 9).

From the verse of Quran above, clearly we can see that Allah SWT asks prophet Muhammad to follow only the Qur’an, so if he followed only the Qur’an then to follow him means we have to follow only the Qur’an. Those who follow other things than the Qur’an aren’t following prophet Muhammad SAW.

And now is the time for us to muse the poem entitled “Follow Muhammad SAW worship Allah with Devotion” (see: Allah the Most Merciful)

Below is the poem Follow Muhammad SAW worship Allah with Devotion

Follow Muhammad SAW worship Allah with Devotion

In the Name of Allah begin every action
Obey, serve and worship Allah with devotion

Read the Qur’an with understanding and comprehension. read more

Yearn to Meet Allah

Yearn to Meet Allah

Yearn to Meet Allah. As moslem, we realize that our life is not as free as non-moslem do. We cannot do as freely as we want. There are rules of Allah that they should be done.

Our Prophet Muhammad (Shallallahu`alaihi Wa Sallam) said: “The world is a prison for a believer and Paradise for a non-believer.” [HR. Muslim]

A believer is ever mindful of Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala). Therefore, he/she is not free to do what they please. They cannot wait to get to Jannah where they will have no restrictions of any kind, no suffering, no sacrifice, and no separation from their loved ones. That is why this world feels like a prison to them. Those believers who are even more cognizant of Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) are in even more pain because of their separation from Him.

A lover always yearns to join his Beloved (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala). This is the sole thought occupying his or her mind.

Below is a poem of me as a lover of Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala). read more

A Pious Wife is Everything in Marriage

A Pious Wife

A Pious Wife is Everything in Marriage. A pious woman’s priority is to seek the pleasure of Allah. She tries acquiring the qualities of a good wife by following the examples of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. and obeying what is commanded in the Book of Allah (Qur’an). Complete obedience and adherence to the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad SAW and Qur’an is the best of a woman’s qualities. Having a wife like the above woman is an enormous boon us.

Below is a poem about A Pious Wife is Everything in Marriage

A Pious Wife is Everything in Marriage

Marriage to her is one half of the dien,

The benefit Allah has put in her is yet to be seen.

She wears her hijab for her Lord, to please and obey,

She turns to Allah for shalat at least five times each day.

She prays in the night and makes sure to awake you,

And sprinkles you with water if sleep should overtake you.

She protects her chastity with firmness because she does not desire,

To displease Allah and end up in the tormenting fire. read more
