          Once upon a time, there was a kingdom whom the king used to be gone over one king with another king every year. During the year, the king would live well in the kingdom. He had got everything he wanted so he lived in luxury. However, he should resign as the king after one year reigning in his kingdom. He should remove to the remote island to live there.     The Function of Past Future Tense

            Past Future is used to express the idea that in the past we thought something would happen in the future. It does not matter if we are correct or not. Past Future Tense follows the basic rules of “Would” or “was/were going to”. “Would” is used to volunteer or promise, and “was going to” is used to plan. Moreover, both forms can be used to make predictions about the future.

    Examples:

    • I knew Yenny would have lunch. (voluntary action)
    • I told you he was going to come to the party. (plan)

           The function of Past Future Perfect Continuous

          Past Future Perfect Continuous Tense is used to express an action or imaginary situation that would have been happening in the past. The verb of Past Future Perfect Continuous is in progress at a certain point or during certain periods in the past.            Actually, Past Future Perfect Continuous is rarely being used in daily life, however, there is no mistake if we know it.

    Examples:

    • He would have been waiting for me for 3 hours at 10 p.m. yesterday, but he had gone at 9 p.m.

           Future Continuous actually has two different patterns: they use “will be Verb1-ing ” and “be going to be verb1-ing.” There is no difference between using “will be Verb1-ing ” or “be going to be verb1-ing.”  It means that their patterns are usually interchangeable.
