      The national monument {or monument national} is a 132 meters tower in the centre of merdeka square, central jakarta. it symbolizes the fight for indonesia’s independencde. the monumment consist of a 117,7 in obelisk on a 45 in square platform at a height of 17 m.

      The towering monumment symbolizes the philosophy of lingga an yoni.lingga resembles,rice pestle {alu} and yoni resembles a mortar rice {lesung},two important items in indonesian agricultural tradition.

      The construction began in 1961 under the direction of president of sukarno and the monumment was opened to the public in 1975. It is topped by a flame covered with  gold foil.the monumment and museum is open daily from 8.00-15.00 evderyday throughout the week , except for the last Monday of the monumment is closed.

      Jellyfish are not really fish.they are invertebrate animals.this means that unlike fish or people,they have no backbones.in fact,they have no bones at all.

       Most jellyfish live in salt water,apart from a few types that live in fresh water.jellyfish are found in oceans and seas all over the world.they live in warm,tropical seas and in icy waters near north and south poles.

      The Yogya Kembali Monument is located in Yogyakarta. It is three kilometres north of the Yogya city centre in the Jongkang village of the Sleman Regency. The monument was inaugurated on June 29th, 1985 to commemorate the historic Indonesian struggle for independence. Yogya Kembali means Yogya Returns, as a reminder of the returning of the Indonesian Republic Government.

      There are two sections of the Yogya Kembali Monument. The first section of the Cureng Aircraft is on the eastern gate, while the other section of Guntai Aircraft stands closer to the western entrance of the monument. The Monument has two wheeled-machine guns which can be seen from a podium towards the eastern and the western side. In the southern end of the yard, there is a wall engraved with 420 names of freedom fighters who lost their lives during a great struggle, from December 19th, 1948 to June 29th, 1949. A poem by Chairil Anwar, titled Karawang Bekasi, is written on one side of the wall dedicated to these unknown patriots.

      The Yogya Kembali Monument is surrounded by fish ponds. It is divided into four alleys which lead to the main building. The main building consists of different floors displaying a wide range of collections during and after the war times. It shows dioramas, carved reliefs or collection of clothes and weapons.

      Fungi used to be considered as a part of the plant kingdom, but they are now though to be quite different.

       The main part of the fungus is a mass of tiny thread called mycelium. Fungi live on the other organic matter in the soil. Fungi are the most important agent in the breakdown of dead plant and animal material, recycling it so that plants can use the nutrients.           Gorillas are the largest of all the primates. A male gorilla can be 180 centimeters tall  and  can  weigh  200  kilograms.  Gorillas  are  very  strong  but  they  do not often fight. In fact they are peaceful animals. Gorillas live in small family groups of about 15.  In a group there is one strong, older male, some young males, and a few females with their babies. They move slowly around a large area of jungle eating leaves and bushes.

            In some ways gorillas are very like humans. When they are happy,  they laugh and wave their arms. When they are angry, they beat their chests. When they are sad, they cry. But they cry quietly, without any tears.

      Unfortunately, people hunt and kill gorillas. They also cut down and burn their trees. There are now only about 10,000 gorillas left in the world.

      A galaxy is a collection of stars and other astronomical bodies, including planets, comets and asteroids, held together by gravity.

        The centre of galaxies can contain many young, very hot stars as well as older stars. Swirling clouds that have been energized by magnetic forces also exist in the centre.

      At this point in time, no one knows the exact number of galaxies in the universe. Astronomers are, however, learning more and more about them everyday.
