The Function of Auxiliary or Verb TO BE

The Fubction of TO BE

The Function of Auxiliary or Verb TO BE. A sentence is a group of words usually containing a verb, that expresses a thought in the form of a statement, question, instruction, or exclamation which, when they are written down, begin with a capital letter and end with a full stop, question mark, or exclamation mark.

From the meaning of sentence above, we can conclude that verb plays important role in a sentence, but what should we do when there is no real verb in making a sentence? The solution is by adding an auxiliary.
