Klayar Beach is located in Donorojo sub-district, Pacitan Regency. It is exactly located in Candi village. It is about 30 kilometers western of the city of Pacitan. And it can be reached about 60 minutes from the city of Pacitan. However, we should be very careful for the road heading Klayar Beach is a bit challenging (and of course it is rather dangerous too, since it’s only fit for one car).
When we arrive to the beach after travelling in bit challenging, we will know that it’s definitely worth around it. It’s all so pretty, and we can get awesome pictures when the sky is bright. But we have to be careful when we want to play on the beach, because the wave is pretty high.
Visitors of this beach will be greeted by the fascinating scenes of powerful waves crashing into huge rocks on the shores, a distinct spectacle as one reaches Klayar Beach. When the tide receded, the beach reveals the captivating view of many shapes and sizes of beautiful rocks sitting on its shores. A strolled down its soft unspoiled sands, accompanied by the rumbling sounds of the tides hitting the shore, will truly give anybody a one of a kind sensation.
Klayar beach may not have been as popular as other beaches in East Java or other beaches in Indonesia, but this quiet area beach has natural landscapes. One that can only be described as the physical definition of what pristine is.
The beach is decorated with enchanting hills covered in green grass and beautiful rocks formed from fossilized reefs. When the waters receded, one can find many beautiful coral reefs with colorful fishes swimming around it.
Klayar Beach with its dune has a distinctive feature from another. Its waves dashed against the rock spouting from the hole make sound like a bamboo flute. The sprinkling of waves rush to beach and out through the hole spurting about 7 meters high and has a sound like blowing bamboo flute.
This white sandy beach has an idiosyncrasy that is the flute sea. It is once in a while whistle among reef gap and blast waved. It has white sand and the water is blue which enjoyable to be visited. Despitefully there is also a real natural water fountain. This water fountain happens because the wave pressures the air sea which hit bank hollow rock. Water fountain, which can reach up to 10 meters height yield drizzle and seawater dew.
While facilities around the beach may be limited, the beaches and other natural splendors of Pacitan are offerings something that is far more valuable: nature at its most pristine state. So why don’t we try to visit this beach?
